2. Uploaded Image Data Handling
Your creative work and privacy are paramount. We handle uploaded images under strict non-retention protocols:
- Ephemeral Processing: Images uploaded to Erase.run are temporarily held in volatile server memory solely for isolating the foreground subject.
- Immediate Deletion: The original file and the cutout result are permanently purged from server memory within seconds after completion.
- No Model Training: We do not utilize your private photographs to train, improve, or fine-tune public artificial intelligence models.
3. Information We Collect
We only collect essential information necessary to maintain quality of service, security, and quota tracking:
- IP Address & Rate Limits: To enforce fair distribution of our free service (10 guest images per 12-hour session), client IP addresses are anonymously hashed and tracked. These logs automatically reset every 12 hours.
- Account Details: If you register to increase your allowance to 25 images per 12 hours or participate in community discussions, we collect your username, email address, and an encrypted password hash.
- Community Contributions: Questions, solutions, and replies posted publicly on the Help & Questions forum are associated with your public display initial/username.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
Erase.run uses minimal cookies and local browser storage strictly for session validation and workspace functionality:
- Authentication Tokens: To keep you signed in securely between page visits without re-prompting credentials.
- Studio Workspace Preferences: Local storage caches your custom backdrop swatches and preview slider coordinates locally in your own browser.
5. Third-Party Services and Data Security
We employ robust physical and electronic security safeguards, including HTTPS protocol encryption and firewall filtering, to defend against unauthorized access. We do not sell or trade user contact details to third-party marketing entities.
6. User Rights and Data Removal
You retain full authority over your personal credentials. If you wish to delete your Erase.run user account, terminate active forum topics, or review associated profile information, you may submit a verified request at any time.
