How does the 12-hour usage limit work and when does it reset?

Our system operates on a rolling 12-hour session. Guests get 10 free images per 12 hours based on their IP address. Once you create or sign into a free account, your allowance immediately jumps to 25 images per 12 hours. The countdown timer starts from your very first image and resets precisely when 12 hours have elapsed.
